The 8th Annual Commerce Kids Silent Auction (2011): "It's A Small World After All!"
Every year, Commerce Kids holds a Silent Auction to help raise funds for its scholarship program and other Center programs. Local businesses from Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and beyond generously donate items that are put up for silent auction in September. Recognizing that we are all part of a local and increasingly global community, our theme this year is "It's a Small World After All." This is particularly true at Commerce Kids!
This year's Auction will be held on Thursday, September 15th in the Department of Commerce Main Lobby, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Please consider donating and come and bid on Auction Day! We'll also be holding a bake sale the week before the Auction, as well as during the Auction itself. Some of our older Commerce Kids will be singing childhood favorites at noon, including this year's theme song: "It's a Small World After All!" Please come join the fun!
