Want to Join Us?
CDCDC has space available now for children ages 3 to 5 years old. If you are interested in joining our NAEYC accredited program, you can contact us to ask questions or schedule a tour.
Food and nutrition is an integral part of our daily curriculum. At Commerce Kids, children participate in family style dining to better facilitate language development, social skills, and proper eating habits. We ensure that all of our meals and snacks meet the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) guidelines for feeding young children. Both snack and lunch menus are posted throughout the center and are sent home at the beginning of each month. Please see each individual classroom's schedule for specific meal times.
Infants
Parents of infants not yet eating table foods must provide daily portions of food, formula, or breast milk. All food items and bottles must be labeled and dated when kept in the refrigerator. As a policy, we do not allow parents to store open containers of food or formula at the Center overnight. Infants will be fed on an individual schedule. Parents will be asked to provide a feeding schedule upon enrollment. This schedule should be updated in writing every two months. We are happy to make arrangements for mothers who desire to nurse their babies.
Children 12 Months and Older
Children 12 months of age and older will be on a schedule that includes a mid-morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
