| 7:15–8:00 | Arrival: Children engage in child-initiated activities within the various areas in the classroom. Children may also eat snacks brought from home at this time. |
| 8:00–8:45 | Exploration time: Supervised exploration of the environment by the children or other activities prepared by the teacher. Children are welcome to participate in group activity or explore the different areas of the classroom. |
| 8:45–9:00 | Diaper changing and potty |
| 9:00–9:30 | Snack time: Snack is served family style with teachers at the tables to assist when needed. |
| 9:30–9:45 | Circle time: Social time where children engage in large group activities including songs, fingerplay, music and movement activities, and reading books. |
| Power Tots: Children engage gymnastics as a way to strengthen their gross motor skills. Children learn basic gymnastics skills such as rolls, cartwheels, round offs, and walkovers. Children also receive instruction on a wide variety of equipment such as parallel bars, barrel mat, crescent mat, vaulting blocks, spring board, wedge mat and balance beams. |

| Music and movement: Children engage in developmentally appropriate music and movement activities. CDCDC contracts with three different instructors to offer a variety of music and movement experiences. |

| Teacher directed small group activities: Creative expression, fine motor activity, language development, or sensory activity |

| 10:30–11:30 | Outdoor play (weather permitting): Child-directed play under teacher supervision, or group walks. In the event of bad weather, children may engage in gross motor activities in the playroom. |
| 11:30–12:00 | Lunch: Children assist with setting the table. Children wash hands and transition to lunch. Lunch is served family style. |
| 12:00–12:30 | Clean up, prep for nap, diaper changing and potty |
| 12:30–2:30 | Nap: Quiet activities provided for early risers. |
| 2:30–2:45 | Diaper changing and potty |
| 2:45–3:15 | Snack time and clean up: Snack is served family style, with teachers at the tables to assist where needed. |

| Small group activity: This may involve arts & crafts, science & discovery, games, puzzles, etc. Some days this will be a planned activity based on our current theme or skill focus. Other days the children will be given materials to work on their own creations. As we finish our activity the children will move on to free play. |
